What does it mean to stoop? The english dictionary describes stoop as descent ,as a form of superiority,as a position of humility or lower one's moral standards.

Stoop to conquer can be interpreted as humility to gain victory and to prevail to get thye prized gift that is attaintable in any situation or circumstance.

Philippians 2:5-11 King James Version (KJV)
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The bible spoke in the above scripture about the condescending manner of our lord Jesus by accepting to come in human flesh,stoop so low to experience shame,beating,insults,great humilation by being nailed on the cross just for him to have done such mighty works of salvation and deliverance for humanity.
We have some examples in the bible that stooped to conquer such as;

Esther,she had to stoop to take instructions from the eunuch in king Ahaserus' palace to become a queen in a strange land which evenyually led to salvation of the jews in Shushan.(Esther 2vs 8-9).
Another person is Daniel,being a prince from the land of captivity condescended to shun the kings food which probably led to his elevation and depths of knowledge to unravel all manners of dreams and revelations.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF STOOPING?
There are benefits that will accrue to us if we stoop in order to conquer;

STOOPING AS A WIFE TO YOUR HUSBAND
A wife has to learn to prayerfully stoop so as to get the attention and love of her husband which will bring peace and progress at home because in the atmosphere where peace reigns progress will naturally thrive. Being a woman brings more responsibility on us as our position is that of submission according to the word of God in Ephesians 5 VS 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. When you have an encounter with Lord Jesus Christ before your husband,every rule of stooping must come to play.

STOOPING IN THE WORK PLACE
Apart from the home front,we need also to stoop in the work place.This is another key factor that can assist an individual to get to his peak in his/her career.There different categories of superiors,some are easy to work with while a great number are diffcult to work with. However our 'stooping' attitude will help us in subduing any mountain.sometimes you might work under someone younger than you but if you want to gain his/her trust and make any positive headway in the workplace then you will have to stoop to acheive that.

STOOPING IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD

1 Peter 5VS 5-6 King James Version (KJV)
5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

We need to condescend one to another,we must do some certain things to attain the level of stooping that will make us more than a conqueror,

Surrender to Jesus ,let him take the wheel of your life,it will be easy to possess the mind of God according to James 4vs 5-7 King James Version (KJV) 5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Live by the word of God; Acts 17vs11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so
Ask continuosly for the infilling of the Holyghost,Romans 8vs 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Daily expunge all the fruits of flesh and ask that the fruit of the spirit will be made manifest at all time in your life,Galatians 5vs 22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Ask for Grace.
