No child ever comes into this world by accident,you may not have planned the conception of the child but God did.Long before he was conceived by you,he had been conceived in the mind of God.God said in Jeremiah 1 vs 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee........God purpose for your child is not to be found in your own ambition but God's purpose for your child is for him to be found in God who created him.
The divine purpose for God creating your child is for him to bring Glory,honor and praise to God in every area of his life.The bible says in Isaiah 43:21 "The people whom I formed for Myself Will declare My praise.That child of yours was formed for God's Glory.in his upbringing,he must be trained right from infancy to know the Lord,his nature ,precepts and demands must be in line with God's standard.He must be taught the necessity of Loving God with all his heart,soul, body and serving the Lord.

Taking a child to church is good but not enough.He must be motivated to develop a strong personal interest in worshiping God,the home environment must be conducive for his spiritual, physical,moral,social and intellectual development.You don't expect to put on adult films and songs that are polluting the mind and you expect his mind not to be polluted,there are christian songs and videos you can watch in the house.Once your child attains the age of accountability ,he must be led to Christ as a Saviour and Lord,You should also make it a habit to pray for him,with him and read the bible to him even if its just for few minutes.The bible says in
Proverbs 22:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Children are under pressure from peer groups,social media,the society and so on,all of these are capable of pushing him away from God's purpose for his/her life,but with measures of unconditional love,exemplary Christian living,correction and discipline,praying with and for the child,he or she will be firmly rooted in Christ and God's purpose will be fulfilled in his/her life.
