I just finished sending off my tax information to the man.
I considered claiming some of my steem dollars on my return, but it doesn't sound like anyone has been.
And why would we?
A decentralized system for earning hard dollars, and investing online for any number of different products and purchases. One that hasn't been regulated. And is not capable of being tracked.
Sure enough, we could all bow down and start paying some made up fee to the economical system we were born into. We could choose to pay those few dollars. That's a choice I don't care to make.
I figure I'm already paying my dues. The government is spending those dollars in ways I don't agree with. Big corporations cut tax breaks all the time. The folks that are already making more money than most of us as it is. So this is my chance to get ahead. And all steemian alike, to trade and share a few ephemeral dollars. So what's a few dollars off the top?
There's no regulation put in place to stop us from prospering on our own. Buikding networks that are now underway.
I'm proud to be a part of a system that has the potential to cripple our economy. Or at least bring it to its knee, and pay homage to the people.
Turdeau can go and take his holidays and multi million dollar vacations on someone else's dime. Or just not all off my back. That son of a bitch.
If your reading this, chances are you agree with me.
Let me know what you think about taxing our community. Upvote, share, and resteemed these ideas.
We are the undercurrent.
These swells are set with the best intention. We can make a better world to live in together.
