Greetings to the members of the #blackandwhite community. The Argentine writer Julio Cortázar once remarked that "one way to combat nothingness is through photography." Indeed, whenever I feel bored, I pick up my camera and head out into the streets to capture images of my city—a truly rewarding experience. Sometimes, I simply want to observe the buildings and take in the beauty of their architecture; I don’t limit myself to old structures, as the modern buildings found here in Havana also possess a charm of their own. Today, I’d like to share a series of images taken at the intersection of Paseo and Malecón avenues, in the Vedado neighborhood. It is always a pleasure to share these experiences with you. Saludos a los miembros de la comunidad #blackandwhite. El escritor argentino Julio Cortázar refirió en una oportunidad que "una de las maneras de combatir la nada, era hacer fotografía". Ciertamente cuando estoy aburrido, tomo mi cámara de fotografía y salgo a la calle a capturar imágenes de mi ciudad, lo cual es muy gratificante, a veces solo quiero mirar los edificios y captar la belleza de su arquitectura, no siempre fotografío edificios antiguos, pues también las construcciones modernas existentes en La Habana tienen su encanto. Hoy les regalo una serie de imágenes tomadas en la intersección de las avenidas Paseo y Malecón, en el barrio del Vedado. Siempre es un placer compartir con ustedes estas experiencias.
