Yes, the problem many times is our mind trying to predict things that we have never really seen, based on what we have seen before. The result is sometimes disastrous. Making us see only what we have already seen. It's kind of a bias, I think.

hahah it's funny you mention the capitalism vs socialism example because it's so common and so annoying that there was a point I just restrained myself from participating in these conversations, even though I consider I shouldn't care about most people's image about me in their heads.
