The philosophy that each philosopher puts forwards is not of an objective search for the truth - but as much as reflection of the personality of the philosopher himself.

Are you sure that the personality of the philosopher is reflected in his truth, and not that what the philosopher believes to be true is reflected in his personality? Do you think these people were like this and that is why they developed their philosophy or rather that because they developed that philosophy they were like that? In any case, we cannot criticize the philosopher for not practicing what he preaches.

I give an opposite example, that of Augustine of Hippo. As is known, before he was a Christian, or a philosopher, he had a very sexually libertine life in his youth. But after getting into philosophy first, and religion later, he changed his personality because of what he believed to be the truth (leaving aside if it is the real truth or not). If he were to develop his philosophy according to his personality, he would probably never become a Christian.

Of course, I would affirm that nobody creates their philosophy of life, their truth, or their reality, according to their personality, but on the contrary, all people change their personality based on what they consider real and true.

Is it possible that Nietzsche is seeing a reflection of himself? Perhaps the will to power is what motivates Nietzsche, and not others.

I find it a bit confusing and contradictory.

Nature is the driver of this vehicle, we're just the passengers along for the ride, and we DO NOT decide the destination.

That's probably a wise thing to say. Although I would add that even when we may not choose the destination, we do choose the path.
