Sometimes I do look at trees and ask myself who planted them. Trying to get an imagination of what it might have been there in the past, right where the tree still stands today.

I understand you. Where I live there used to be a big forest but that was centuries ago, now it's an urban area, so it's the other way around. Maybe everything you see has a history.
