Call it support on a whim, but I have decided to throw about 200 STEEM into about 1000 SAND, and I plan on locking it up in SAND power.

@ackza remains one of the hardest working Steemians I've followed yet, and its simply too difficult to not reward his project dedication with a mere $28 worth of STEEM.
I remain most impressed by his willingness to bridge this token into the EOS (and hopefully bancor) environments, a practice that I hope will spread to other Nitrous platforms as well.
As far as value goes, SAND ticks off a few of the buckets Im looking for in a token:
As a nearby local myself to San Diego, I appreciate the focus on a niche community. Yet there does appear to be a fair amount of exploitation going on as with most Nitrous communities from token tag spammers.
For my part, I will attempt to be more judicious in some curation efforts here, albeit sparingly. Admittedly, I will likely be more of a passive supporter otherwise.
