Love is a felling of compassion and care. Love is selfless. It makes you to treat someone else as you will wish to be treated. The Bible says in the book of wisdom, train up a child in the way he or she will go, and when he grow, he will not depart from it. Our children will love us not just the way we love them but might even love us more than we love them if we train them up in love. You can't expect a child who was brought up in a hostile environment or home to love you when he did not learn to love from his parents or guardians. As we train them up from childhood we have to teach them what love means, by practising it in their presence and unto them, and also let them know that it is a commandment from God that we should show love to one another.love is not really how much money you spend on someone dear to you, but is a positive/compassionate feeling in the heart that is expressed as an action towards one another. So as you bring up a child in love, he or she will grow to love you and even more than you do or did.
