I believed in "Danshari" you can check out my previous blog that I introduced what is "Danshari".
The old lovers, old pictures, those expensive clothes that are hiding deep inside your drawer and they are unfitted. The most expensive tableware that you never use. The friends you didn't hang out for more than few years or even never text message. The stuffs you keep and you think you may use them someday but you never use it......
Danshari is a process to give up all those things because they are all no longer represent yourself HERE & NOW.
If you have no clue where to start with. You can start working on a drawer or a shelf first. Taking the things out one by one, ask yourself will you keep it or throw it away without any thinking. Some of the items that you can answer it right away. Some you might have hesitation then put them aside first.
Remember, you should keep every drawer, shelves only 80% loaded. Treat your place like a nice boutique shop instead of a storeroom. A home should be a place that you are willing to stay, it should be a place to recharge. Again, your home shouldn't be a storeroom that you can barely squeeze a place on your bed to sleep.
If you think some of the items you gave up are valuable. Try to sell them on Ebay, facebook groups or donate to the NGO like Salvation Army.
I'm dying to see the transformation of your home from a storeroom to a boutique shop! Please feel free to show me from the comment below!
