It's quite easy to make FRIENDS than to have a FRIEND.. Friends in the sense the you have some set of people you talk to, laugh with, visit probably once in a while... But in all of this, you might probably be without a friend...
Now I was returning from somewhere last week... When I overheard a woman crying and saying her friend made away with someone's clothes and came and gave it to her to use .... And I was like... Is that a friend?? And I concluded that that kind of person ain't a friend.... Cause you will end up putting that woman in trouble.....
Now in this current era, the youths of now wants to socialize and make new "friends"....but they don't cause it is not easy to find a person you can call your friend...
WHO IS A FRIEND
A friend is a person that is concerned about your life, always ready to care for you and will go extra miles for you (even ifvit is going to inconvenience him/her).. A friend is that one person that knows your in and out.... Cause the both of you will be there to each otherin trying times and raise the other person up...

SHORT-TERM FRIEND
This are friends I call connectors... They come into your life for a particular purpose.. And when that thing is done, they are out of your life..... Fo RSS example, you need to produce your song in the studio.... Yet you don't have the sufficient funds to finance the project. Now you have a friend who is very close to the owner of the studio..... at that point, he is fulfilling a purpose if he helps you speak to the owner of the studio.....now does this mean that after the studio production he isn't your friend anymore??.... No!!..... He is still your friend.... So you still keep in touch...cause you don't know the future.....
FRIEND FOR LIFE
This are the friends that stand by you till forever.... This kind of friends are few in a man's life..... He might have only 2 or 3... This kind of friend should always strengthen you, believe in you, bring out the best part of you, be open with you, be ready to share what he/she has with you, be open with you, drag you to God and so many others....
As you step out today, ask your self.....Do I have a friend.......
