Hi all guys, I'm back again to this great community, I took a little vacation, as time passes more or less a month of inactivity, but duty and art calls me haha, to start with the new publications I decided to make a simple portrait of a girl, but changing a little the style of drawing, a little more rustic style and not so polished, I want to experiment other techniques to implement them to my way of painting. This was a different and fun drawing to do, since I didn't worry so much about the technique, I gave myself the freedom to try different things, I hope you like it as much as I do.
Next I show you the step by step of the development of the illustration.
Hola a todos chicos, estoy nuevamente de vuelta a esta gran comunidad, me tome unas pequeñas vacaciones, como pasa el tiempo más o menos un mes de inactividad, pero el deber y el arte me llama jaja, para empezar con las nuevas publicaciones decidí realizar un retrato sencillo de una chica, pero cambiando un poco el estilo de dibujo, a un estilo un poco más rustico y no tan pulido, quiero experimentar otras técnicas para implementarlas a mi forma de pintar. Este fue un dibujo diferente y entretenido de realizar, ya que no me preocupe tanto en la técnica, me di la libertad de probar diferentes cosas, espero que les guste tanto como a mí.
A continuación les muestro el paso a paso del desarrollo de la ilustración.
For this first work I decided to make a girl with a penetrating look, somewhat serious, that would transmit both a feeling of pain and hopelessness. The color palette mainly using different shades of blue, to achieve a harmony between the hair and the background. The same is done using mainly the flat brush mostly to achieve the rustic effect, and create different textures in both the skin and facial features.
Para este primer trabajo decidí realiza una chica con una mirada penetrante, algo seria, que transmitiera a la vez un sentimiento de dolor y desesperanza. La paleta de color principalmente usando diferente tonalidades de azules, para lograr una armonía entre el cabello y el fondo. El mismo está realizado usando principalmente el pincel plano en su mayoría para lograr el efecto rustico, y crear diferentes texturas tanto en la piel como en las facciones del rostro.
We start the drawing with a sketch, we define the proportions of the drawing with all the details that compose it. Then in another layer and using the flat brush, I begin to draw the skin, varying a little its tonality.
Iniciamos el dibujo con un boceto, definimos las proporciones del mismo con todos los detalles que lo componen. Luego en otra capa y usando el pincel plano, empiezo a dibujar la piel, variando un poco su tonalidad.
In this next step, I blurred the skin colors a bit, I also started to add some color to the lips, I also started to slightly trace the shape of the hair, giving it a bit of a scruffy and wild look, I used the color blue as it is my favorite color.
En este siguiente paso, difume un poco los colores de la piel, además empecé a agregar un poco de color a los labios, también empecé a trazar levemente la forma del cabello, dándole un aspecto un poco desaliñado y salvaje, use el color azul ya que es mi favorito.
We continued with the portrait, this time designing the expression of the face, her characteristic look, blue eyes with a particular brightness, her nose and mouth. He also accentuated the shadows and shines of the face.
Proseguimos en el retrato, esta vez diseñando la expresión del rostro, su mirada característica, de ojos azul con un brillo particular, su nariz y boca. También acentuó las sombras y brillos del rostro.
To finish the work, adding volume and depth to the hair, using different shades of blue, from the lightest to the darkest, applying several layers. I also designed a simple background, recreating some stars or galaxy in the background and in the foreground some luminous circles.
Para finalizar terminamos el trabajo, agregándole volumen y profundidad al cabello, usando diferentes tonalidades de azul, desde los más claros hasta el más oscuro, voy aplicando varias capas. También diseñe un fondo sencillo, recreando unas estrellas o galaxia al fondo y en un primer plano unos cirulos luminosos.
