Let's face it. We all came to know about steemit.com from someone. The idea of steemit didn't just drop in our head. Likewise we are to do the same. Don't expect to receive when you are not giving. Go out there, tell someone about steemit.com. Convince them to join. It's also a really good way of building followers.
Organize an event. Educate the people of how much steemit is helping people become independent. People need to know that they can become bosses too.
I took it upon myself to educate my coworkers and neighbors about steemit. Many of them have joined and many promised to join also. Builder followers by talking to others outside. Don't just sit back and wait for people to just start following you.. Go out there and tell them to.
