Hive has blessed a lot of lives via the system put in place to reward content creation, and this has led to many creating content with the intention to earn. After earning, people can choose to do what they like with what they've earned; some might withdraw to buy things, and others can save or invest theirs. But today in response to the prompt that asked us to talk about our first hive withdrawal, below I'll be talking about mine, how it felt, what I did with it, and several other related things to name but a few, so without further ado, let's get to it.
My first withdrawal on the blockchain came after about four to six months of me joining the Hive blockchain and consistently posting. Prior to withdrawing, I had a mindset of what I wanted to do with some of my first withdrawal, but I didn't expect it'd come that soon. But then a financial need arose during that period, and I had to resolve to withdraw on Hive. The need was to pay for my brother's medical examination at the hospital, and since we couldn't see other means to pay for it, I did that via Hive. Although I can't remember how much I withdrew, I can remember what I got with it.
Firstly, I paid for my brother's medical bill. After that, I brought shoe leather material to make a palm slipper for me to use on the Hive blockchain, and lastly, I used the remaining part of the money to purchase a power bank because, at the time, I was experiencing poor power supply in my community and needed stable electricity, so that's why I got the power bank. I was elated by the first withdrawal on Hive because it helps me confirm the fact that I'm not investing my time on the blockchain in vain; it also helps me show gratitude to the person who told me about Hive, and most importantly, it helps me be instrumental in my brother's journey to good health after a prolonged illness.
The withdraw influence my hive journey positively, because seeing that the platform is legit, make me out more effort and stay consistent.
