Writing about this topic is more weird than I thought. I spent hours yesterday staring at a blank page. I just couldn’t write anything down because my mind was triggered by the title of this article.. My heartbeat increased, I became so tense and a cold feeling just rushed in.
I was just going through my life and each time I think of my dreams and goals, the ones I’m so terrified to go after, the words “Stop acting like you live twice” keep ringing in my head.. I just couldn’t write down anything but rightfully so, this article is for you and let me say it again:
“STOP ACTING LIKE YOU LIVE TWICE”.
We all have equal rights in this world. Rights to be healthy, wealthy, and fulfilled. Rights to live enriching lives. To see everything that we ever hoped for come through. Life’s perfect treasures are available to all. No one is exempted. But the issue is that we have decided to exempt ourselves from the abundance of life.
It is no longer the case where we accept what ever life hands over to us and wait in quiet desperation for things to change. We must rather go forth and take what is rightfully ours because it is ours; deservingly so, it is yours. The courage to believe that It is yours and the tenacity to go after it, speaks volume. So true are the words of Sydney J. Harris when he said:
“Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable.”

Life’s too short too to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right and forget about the ones who make you sad. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it transforms your life then let it. I can’t promise you it will be smooth and easy but I know every step you take in transforming your life is worth it.
We only live on earth once but if we do it right, once is enough.
