“If you do not enjoy a moment, you lose it forever. If you enjoy it, it is yours forever.” ~ Debasish Mridha
Everyone in life has a perspective on what a perfect day would be like for them. For most people, their perfect day is the day they get married. For others, the day they gave birth to their first child is marked as their "perfect day."
For some, "the perfect day" is the day they throw a lavish party, whereas for sports fans, especially football fans, "the perfect day" is when their boyhood club wins a trophy (and I’m not kidding about this one).
But for me, I really want my perfect day to be every day.
Looking back to when I was young, I had so many beautiful memories and so many perfect days, but that’s in the past. My perfect day is different now.
Steve Harvey once said that if your best memories are of events that have happened in the past, then you’re wasting your present moment.
But the question I always ask myself is, "What would my perfect day be like?"
My perfect day is when I am clear-headed, expressive, and my thoughts and actions are aligned with the best part of myself. I’m excited, enthusiastic, and passionate about my goals. I’m in sync with the universe, sharing love, touching lives, and spreading happiness with family, loved ones, and friends.
I’m fearlessly pursuing my dreams by doing the things I ought to do. I’m disciplined.
I want my perfect day to be a lifestyle, not a one-stop shop. And the truth is, making every day perfect is my aim.
Thank you @mypathtofire for such an exciting topic. You really made me think about this, and I guess it changed my perspective as well.
Thank you for reading; I adore you all.
