Children are complicated yet interesting. I am not a parent yet just an aunt to around 40 kids. hehe lol.

Yeah an aunt to approximately 40 kids. I come from a very big sized family at both my mother's & my father's side. I am the youngest one also the only one left who is yet to get married. All my sisters and brothers have kids now. So yeah get my feeling here. :P

I want to share something very interesting that my niece did with me or maybe it just happened.

My own sister who has two daughters, one is 3 and another is 8. They visit us twice an year generally during their summers and winters school vacation. The older niece is a quite and calm kid. If you will ask her to stand up, she will stand - no questions asked. She is the kind of kid most of the parents would want. Whereas the younger one is a storm of some kind. She is so full of energy that she scared me this time.

So what would happen is - Every night I used to sleep at 2 am when Home. While everyone would sleep, my younger niece just would not - She would be up jumping from here to there on bed, touching my laptop again & again, lying and singing poems looking at wall, finding any object and do something with it. This went on for about 5 nights straight. What came to my notice is that her energy triple folds when everyone sleeps and it is just me & her awake at that time. She would start doing some weird things - some weird games.

All of a sudden, one night She said to me "Make happy, make happy". Then she started laughing. Then she said "Make sad", then she made a really horrible sad face which was scary to me. Then she said "Make angry" and made an angry face herself. Then she shouted "Do pupiseee" then she made a very strong surprising gesture which helped me understand she mean Surprise by saying Pupisee.

She did the above actions 2 times repetitively that night and I was just sitting & staring her all shocked & alert. My heart started throbbing fastly, then the older niece who was half sleep, I asked her about what the other one is doing, then she told me they teach this face making in school. So she wants you to make Happy, Sad, angry and surprise face with her.

Ok I played with her. But oh God I got scared of 3 year old that day. The next thing that came to my mind is - "Is this kid crazy? I have not seen a kid like this. She is weird. She is normal when everyone is awake then what happens to her in night." Although I obviously did not like thinking all this about my own niece who is a piece of my heart. But then the next thing I did - I searched on google - "How to know if a kid is crazy"

To my suprise, the answers I got from google were so weird and hilarious. What I found out is, kids are supposed to be weird and fun and interesting, that is part of their growth.

I took a deep sigh and decided to forgot that I had such a bad thought about my niece. I decided I will not tell this to my sister or anyone but then I could not control myself next day. My sister made a bad face and then I made things funny here saying I just got scared. A 3 years old human scared a 25 years old one.

Lol
I find the whole episode very funny and yes a weird experience for myself.
