Hello Steemians, welcome to my blog
I'll be doing a little something on trust issues but first of all it is necessary to establish that as humans, relationships is an inevitable part of our everyday lives. We are born into relationships (family), we get to meet people, interact with them, bond with them, get to know them and before we know it, we are used to them.
Good relationships are beautiful, they tend to be fun, fulfilling, relaxing, and in the end every one is happy. I actually love good relationship, i get goosebumps when I see people get along really well and they are happy together or away from each other.
Trust is the life wire of every relationship, hard to build and easy to crash. We are humans and are bound to make mistakes, sometimes we get a little selfish, greedy, inconsiderate, insensitive, immature and exhibit a whole lot of character flaw which eventually leads us to messing up and breaking trust.

what happens when you break someone's trust
Whenever you misbehave in relationships, and your partner no longer trusts you, this has a long term damaging effect on the victim and would lead to Pistantrophobia(fear of trusting people)
People with Pistantrophobia need more than psychological treatment, they need evidence, the need more than just letting go of their past, they need people who will presently help them believe in trust.
Early last year, i lost a friendship to Pistantrophobia, it was one major loss for me and it still hurts. She was my best friend and she never trusted anyone, in her relationship it was a big struggle and i kept on trying to make her understand that good people existed, i did my best to not just tell her but show her. I was a good friend indeed but my efforts went down the drain as her boyfriend was showing the opposite. In the end she took sides with her boyfriend's attitude and her Pistantrophobia became worse. She got up one evening and flushed a friendship of 4 years down the drain. I didn't believe she never trusted me, she didn't even make an effort, she obviously didn't care how i felt, she just didn't trust anyone and that was all that mattered. Well i was hurt for months but i realized i couldn't have fixed it alone. If only her boyfriend proved himself trustworthy, she might probably have let go of her fears gradually.
Now let me narrow this down to an intimate relationship. If you're in a relationship with someone, find out if your partner trusts you, if they do, do everything possible to make sure you don't break that trust and if they don't, help them gradually get to trust you.
If you are someone who cannot be trusted, it is a character flaw you need to gradually correct. People are hurt everyday, relationships break every and people take rash decisions in response to these hurts...
Let's help them live again, let's cure Pistantrophobia, let's be trust worthy.
