Una stampa a linoleum che ho fatto l'anno scorso quando lavoravo al museo. Il conservatore aveva organizzato un laboratorio sull'intaglio del linoleum con le scuole e mi era stato chiesto di creare un esempio da mostrare agli studenti.
Volevo fare un occhio, così l'ho disegnato sulla lastra di linoleum. Se aggiungete delle scritte dovete farle al contrario, nella stampa verranno giuste.
Ho usato una sguria per intagliare il disegno, stando attenta a non piantarmela in un dito.
Dopo aver intagliato tutto, con un rullo ho passato dell'inchiostro a base di acqua sulla lastra. Ci ho calcato sopra un foglio di carta e voila, questo è quello che ne è uscito fuori.

A linoleum printing I did last year when I worked in a museum. The keeper made a laboratory on linocut with schools and I had to create an example to show to the students.
I wanted to print an eye, so I draw it on the linoleum surface. If you decide to write something, remeber to write it backwards to have it in the right way on paper.
I used a V-shaped chisel to uncarve the lineart. You need to be very careful in this process or you cut your fingers.
After I craved the part I wanted, I rulled some water based ink over the surface and I pressed a paper sheet on it.
