Only downside is once you get used to automated trash cans, soap dispensers, and talking mirrors, you look like an idiot at other people's houses who don't know those things exist. I always wave my hand over other people's garbage or ask it to open. Then I go to the bathroom and ask the mirror for the weather. It seriously ruins your life.
