Hace unos días vivimos el concierto aniversario de nuestro núcleo, una jornada vibrante y cargada de música que nos recordó por qué amamos lo que hacemos. Fue un encuentro realmente especial, donde por fin logramos reunir a toda nuestra gran familia: el programa coral, el programa Alma Llanera y, por supuesto, nuestro querido programa de iniciación musical.
Lo que más me emociona es la evolución que he presenciado. Comparando este concierto con nuestras primeras presentaciones, el cambio en mis niños de iniciación es asombroso. Se han adaptado al escenario y han interiorizado la disciplina con una madurez admirable. Lo mismo puedo decir de mis chicos de la banda rítmica; ellos ya conocen más de cerca este mundo y, cada día, su entrega es más profunda y su música más hermosa. Verlos ahí, frente al público, es el reflejo tangible de nuestro trabajo diario: cuando ellos brillan, estamos viendo el resultado de meses de pasión, paciencia y mucha dedicación.
Contamos con la grata visita de nuestra directora, lo cual hizo el evento aún más significativo. Presentamos un repertorio variado en el que logramos integrar diversas piezas, permitiéndonos mostrar mucho de lo que hemos construido en el aula. Todo fluyó en orden y armonía. Además, el detalle del refrigerio compartido fue el broche de oro; ver la emoción y las sonrisas de los niños al finalizar es una satisfacción que no tiene precio.
Aunque sé que siempre hay detalles por mejorar y mucho camino por recorrer, hoy me siento profundamente satisfecha con el resultado alcanzado. A few days ago, we celebrated our nucleo's anniversary—a vibrant day filled with music that reminded us exactly why we do what we do. It was a truly special gathering, where we finally managed to bring our entire musical family together: the choral program, the Alma Llanera program, and, of course, the Early Childhood Musical Initiation program where I teach.
What excites me the most is the growth I’ve witnessed. When I compare this concert to our very first ones, the transformation in my younger students is astonishing. They have adapted to the stage and embraced discipline with admirable maturity. I am equally proud of my rhythm band students; they are more familiar with this world now, and every day their dedication grows deeper and their music more beautiful. Watching them perform is a direct reflection of our daily work—when they shine on stage, we are seeing the results of months of passion, patience, and commitment.
We were honored by the visit of our director, which made the event even more meaningful. We performed a varied repertoire, successfully integrating different pieces to showcase the hard work we’ve built in the classroom. Everything flowed in perfect harmony. Additionally, sharing a snack together afterwards was the perfect touch; seeing the joy and excitement on the children's faces is a satisfaction that has no price.
Although I know there are always details to improve and a long road ahead, today I feel deeply satisfied with what we have achieved. Little by little, we will continue to learn and build this dream.
