THE DEATH DILEMMA
At the beginning of the year 2333, an economic war was triggered in the world, where people were punished for stealing food in the cruelest way possible, they cut off your arm and thus you no longer had the possibility to buy or work, because in the wrist of your right hand, they implanted a chip where when scanned they had in the database, all your information: home address, age, work, salary, bank account, debts, family tree, places you attended, etc.. In short, EVERYTHING. It was already a time when artificial intelligence took over everything that was irreplaceable and even the most useful professions became secondary. There was nothing that artificial intelligence could not do, except for one thing: the army of each country. And the reason was that they preferred humans in the military, rather than robots, for the simple reason of not losing expensive material for repair or new manufacturing.
In mid-October a heat wave broke out that drove many people to madness, despair, anguish and suicides. In what began to discuss the commands of several countries, leading the chaos to a launching of a war between two major countries, were very difficult times and the laws were governed by unknown leaders (many people said they were not even human). There were armies of more than 5 million soldiers and among the misfortune, drones were infiltrating and shooting from the sky. I managed to run to some ancient caves that were inside the forest and I lasted several days until I was captured by some policemen who were actually robots controlled by people from other places, then they tied me up and covered my eyes, they put me on a kind of drone where my ears were covered by the height and we flew for about 20 minutes until we reached a place where there were many more people from my country.
A short time later a very annoying man with a black mask came in, he was asking for me and I did not understand what was happening, since I had not done anything that violated the laws, laws that were not well understood, but that in the end were summarized in not doing anything and only receiving orders. They had a comrade in a kind of room that looked like a cell and I became very worried, I knew he had done something, he was crying and begging. They said he had gone into the main office to look for his parents' files. It turns out that his parents were taken to war and never came back and according to the laws that were always enforced at their convenience, they said that all their belongings if they died, automatically inherited by their son and they told him that he had absolutely nothing of value to give them to my partner, so my partner was planning a plan to review the files of his parents.
When people died, their chips with all their information went to another database that was checked with a code that could only be obtained in that office and my partner wanted that code to really confirm that what they were saying was true. Unfortunately, they found out and without remorse they wanted to execute him, but they wouldn't do it, they wanted me to do it, so they called me aside and gave me two options: execute him or they would execute me for not obeying them. That was what life was all about at that time, those were difficult times, with little power of speech and decision. However, at that moment the story changed completely. I had a plan and we had little time to get everything right. I agreed to execute it on one condition, that I be left alone with my partner for a moment and at that moment I told him what we were going to do. A few minutes passed when they came in and told me that it was time for me to execute him, but at that moment I told them that I did not plan to use a gun, that they could not force me to kill him with a gun, since what mattered was the final result which was to execute him; they accepted and asked me the way I planned to do it and in which I answered that the only way I would do it, would be to inject him so that it would not be so traumatic.
It was time to inject him and with the help of other comrades who knew about pharmacy, he went into cardiac arrest, but he could be saved with shocks, we only had 15 minutes after he was declared dead to get him out and take him to where the others were. They said: take his corpse away, we don't want him here and make it quick. When they arrived, they were in charge of giving him heart shocks so that he would react and with a lot of faith, they managed to bring him into the world, although it was not the best moment in history, the idea was to save his life and mine as well. By 2351 the war ended and the laws began to change for the better, people could live at least in a place where every word, every effort was worth and that gave hope to many to continue living.
