About 3 years ago, my mom and my grandmother decided to move to Chile with me and that was one of the most beautiful stages of my life, with its ups and downs and everything, the only thing I remember are the good times we lived. At that time I lived in a shared land with the owners who also lived there and built a house to rent, that is, apart from theirs, there was one more and the common areas such as pool, parking and barbecue area were shared with them, which could look a little cumbersome if you think about it from the side of living with strangers, but no, thanks to life, destiny and God, I have very nice memories of the people I met in Chile, they say that people who live outside the capital of Santiago de Chile, are usually a little nicer and open their doors and hearts to share with people, or at least that was my experience. When I decided to move in with them, after 5 months my mom and grandmother arrived in Chile and I was a little nervous about how they would get along with the owners but it was easier than I imagined because Margarette and Oscar are a very fun couple and they made a lot of use of the terrace for barbecues; they loved to share with us and we spent a lot of time talking. My grandmother, who talks her head off and loves to tell her stories of the past, was suddenly happy and they also got along very well because they were somewhat contemporary in age. Back in Chile, the most they drink is wine, Chilean wine is very rich, I would say that it is one of the countries where they make and have the best wines, so the Chilean is very used to never miss a wine at the table, that custom is also in Spain even for breakfast, so wine was never missing in a barbecue meeting and Oscar was an expert lighting the charcoal and thank goodness, because my mom, my grandmother and I, we only knew how to make the sauce and eat haha. He always made a very rich Venezuelan sauce called "guasacaca" and sometimes he made a lot of it, he was a little exaggerated but there was never too much, there was always more. So that was my specialty and I think they liked the sauce so much that whenever we grilled the first thing they would say was: no grill without your magic sauce.
Those were beautiful times that I remember with a smile on my face and today I wanted to capture these moments by sharing them with you and wishing you a nice weekend and that if you are going to grill, have a great time, because life is only one and take with you the beautiful, the most beautiful thing of the moment.
A hug,
Vero!

Vero!
