Movies, meetups and manga

I took a break from positing the other day because I was caught up doing housework, visiting @guthrie’s school for his summer concern and then heading to the theatre to see Godzilla: King of the Monsters. How was the film you might ask? Hmmmm....disappointing. I won’t reveal any spoilers here...but I might not be able to hold my tongue in the comment section.

I got up early to do yoga this morning. It was exactly what I needed to calm my nerves because I had an interview. The market is so unpredictable that I just have to start looking for traditional work again. I’ve come to terms with it. Wish me luck!

The movie sucked but I did enjoy my slushee. Okay, lemme say this. For those of you that did go out to see Godzilla: King of the Monsters- Would you agree that this would’ve been better as a series versus a movie? There were so many missed opportunities.

Here’s another random thing that I felt like sharing! @kommienezuspadt surprised me with volume 5 of The Girl from the Other Side. I picked up the first four issues on a previous trip in New York and instantly fell in love. Our friends are meeting us here at the house soon but after that, I’ll be snuggled on the sofa reading. I’m so excited!!
