That’s where I’m at. I was in a deep state of dreaming and was torn from that world. It wasn’t a pleasant dream, I know that for sure. Lots of conflict that needed to be resolve and several scenes phasing in and out. I had the chance to scribble down the details but it started to fade as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes. My mind began to skim through the days plan and I knew whatever remained of my dream would be gone. I have to get better about keeping a journal nearby so I can write this stuff down. I definitely write faster than I could with a pen versus my phone. I also love the idea of getting myself a pretty ornate journal and pen but I wish my handwriting was as beautiful as @kommienezuspadt’s. I should start learning calligraphy on my downtime, then I’ll stop pouting.
Right now I’m enjoying a drink and the company of friends at @caffetto. I’ve been teetering and sinking in my seat but I’m hanging in there, sipping on my peach paradise tea.
@kommienezuspadt’s inking something amazing for his comic and I’m settling back into writing after crushing a friend in two rounds of Magic. He left with his tail hanging between his legs and I boasted about defending
@kommienezuspadt’s honor.
@tarotbyfergus is here, lounging somewhere outside. Earlier he said his icon line, “I’m gonna go smoke and look cool.“ I really do cherish all the memories I’ve made in this place. All the kind hearted weirdos and tasty treats. After a days work, it feels like I’ve returning home.
An impromptu movie date happened and I finally saw IT Chapter 2! A bit unexpected because I was at the mall with my sister-in-law and nephew when @kommienezuspadt called to let me know he was buying us tickets at the fancy cinema located on the upper level. He just needed to drop off his phone at Apple before he could meet me there. If you’ve read his recent post then you’ll know about all the drama that went down with Apple. If not and you find curiosity knocking then click this link to find out more. I had just enough time to grab lunch with my family before dashing upstairs to the theatre. Overall, the film was good. They wrapped up the story nicely but it wasn’t as scary as I had anticipated. The theatre staff greeted us at the exit with chocolates and now I feel obligated to return for the next release. Fast forward, past all the phone drama and you’ll find us at our favorite Indian restaurant. I don’t know about you but when I feel sad, good food always makes it better. After eating, his mood slowly brightened and we enjoyed the rest of the night doing art stuff.
With this particular edit, I wanted to play around with warm and cool tones again. I really enjoyed the faint yellows, greens and soft highlights on my face. Just the right amount of color without over saturating.
