Wonderful as this is it only when you see such things do you realise what you are missing. In any of the unpopulated areas of the world you should have been able to see a star field at sunset.

For sure I know you probably already know this from your time in Africa but it is a genuine sadness to me that living in the city we are so isolated from the rest of the universe.
