Aye. it is quite frightening to realise how fragile our eco-system is. So is great when you get wildlife in the wild.

A few weeks ago a very old friend of mine was visiting from the US and (after her somehow getting lost) we went for a walk along the Grand Union canal in Southall and saw bonā fidē swans!

I was just not expecting that in the heart of the city.

We really need to get out and look around more I say.
