In one of my previous posts I briefly mentioned Marcus King as one of the gems I've discovered. Last July he was in Europe and, how nice, also came to the Netherlands. It should have been.... :) Of course, as soon as I knew he was coming, I immediately bought tickets. We went to the concert with two friends and my brother.
In the support act was a lady, with only a guitar, I forgot her name but she didn't really impress me much. She had nice songs but a very high, almost annoying, voice. That wasn't really my cup of tea.
The concert hall was DOORNROOSJE, a well-known hall where normally not the biggest bands are played because it can't accommodate that many people. So I was quite surprised that the Marcus King band was here. On the other hand, they are not that big in Europe yet.
The band was great and Marcus King's guitar playing and vocals were goosebumps material. I enjoyed from start to finish. I thought it was great that the whole band, they had already traveled almost all over Europe, played so much fun and with passion. really great.
I think the band liked it in Europe, because in March 2023 they are already coming back, and of course we already have tickets :)
Check the band out, they are really great...
