Today we are having our last day at the resort in Crete. Boy did we had a great time. Yesterday we went to the final evening at the Nostos bar, great staff and great music.
I asked a lot of songs to play , and they did ..so it was a rocking night. We went to a little taverne for the second time, they had great food and it was a great family who enjoyed cooking, you could taste that in all the dishes.
The resort itself was huge, nice people , great facilities but the food was 'mhoa' , a lot of the same every night. Perhaps due to being the end of the season, I dont know. But besides that it is a great resort.
We watched the formula one qualifying, to bad Max Verstappen got put three place back on the grid because he ignored the yellow flag, it costed him the pole position.
Today we are relaxing by the pool, having some drinks and enjoy our last day. It was a well worth, deserved and spent holiday.
Last year we were at the other side of Crete, and I do think we will go again in the future, such a nice people and beautiful Island.
Tomorrow we have to catch the bus at six o clock in the morning, will be a problem getting out of the holiday mode :)
