Dembe is one of the most popular traditional sports in Northern part of Nigeria. The sport is a contact and combative game between two players who engages themselves using arm,fists,and legs. One arm is wrapped with bandage and the other hand free for protection like a shield.
Dembe can be likened to a Chinese sport called kick boxing.
