There are six Premier League fixtures line up for today 5th of October 2019. The first first match of the is early kick off between Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur. Brighton is currently placed 15th on the table and a win will move them the middle of the table pending the other results of the games to be played today and tomorrow. With the current poor form of Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton will fancy their chance against a crisis ravaged Spurs who have not show quality that can match the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United. I foreseen a scoring draw in this match.
My prediction is 2-2.
Burnley versus Everton, this match will definitely decide the faith of Everton Manger as any thing short of victory against Burnley team that is currently 9th on the table may as well signal the end of era for the Everton Manager whose tactic has being questioned time without number considering the calibre of players Everton signed this season. A wrong selection or a wrong tactic will for sure expose the Everton defense line that have shown time without number their vulnerability.
Liverpool versus Liecester City is my pick for today as will find it a bit tough handling a stubborn and resolute Liecester City defense. For a team that currently placed 3rd on the log against a team topping the league, the battle is to finish. The coming of Brender Roger to Liecester City as given the formal champions reasons to believe once more, this is an evidence in their last match against Newcastle United where they scored five goals past their opponent. It has being easy for Liecester City this season in terms of goals, the team has plus 8 goals different.
Norwich City will take on Aston Villa in bottom of the table battle, a win for Norwich will further consolidate their
position and move up to 13th on the table while a loss for Aston Villa will condemn them to bottom three at least for the week 8 fixture.
My prediction is 2-1 in favour of Norwich City.
Watford versus Sheffield United, ordinarily in time past, this match will be a sure win for Watford but this is not so this time around, especially will poor run of form of the home team that has managed 2 points in 7 matches this season. For Sheffield United, eight points at this stage of the season may not be seen as bad result at all considering the size of the club. Sheffield will take positive from the fact that Watford has been so poor at home and even away, and have minus sixteen goals different.
The last match of the day will see West Ham United taking on Crystal Palace, the Hammer are enjoying a better start to the season as they are currently placed 5th on the log while Crystal Palace sit 9th with one point different in between the two teams. Both teams have almost identical goals of plus one, minus one.
My prediction is 2-1 inn favour of West Ham United.
