The first thing which makes money important to us is that we can spend it to take care of our basic needs which requires money , the amount of money we can spend on our needs or how much of our needs can be met will be determined by the income which we earn except if you want to spend beyond our capacity and go into debts.
Some people get into several debts and become poorer because they were spending beyond their means simply because they want to impress others , for example a person who can only afford a $5000 car decideds to buy a car of $50000 just because they want to impress people and because they want to look rich to them..Such person who spends more than what they can afford will then go into debts and start suffering for the their financial irresponsibilities...
