We usually expect China to out do United States. But China has a long way to go.
We think that china is huge continent where we can go anywhere. But in reality, China is no different from an isolated island. The eastern part of China, the West Pacific, is blocked by Korea and Japan. South Korea and Japan have close military ties with the U.S.. They are quite onerous for China. So China is causing territorial disputes with Japan to advance to the West Pacific. This a major cause of the Senkaku conflict.
And Taiwan is also a major obstacle to China. Taiwan is called an aircraft carrier of U.S. that doesn't sink. It is also bad news for China that the Philippines has attracted U.S. military base again. Like this, China's eastern coast has been blocked up.
Then, how about south? Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines are pitted against China over the ownership of the southern sea. China's path is rough.
China had turned its eyes to the west. China was trying to build an oil pipeline through Afghanistan. But We know what happened on September 11, 2001 in the U.S.. China's plan has completely collapsed.
In addition, conflicts with India have also been triggered recently. The Dalai Lama visited Arunachal Pradesh, an area where India and China had disputed. China responded sensitively, and eventually came to the brink of conflict. As the relationship between India and China became worse, the United States joined forces with India.
In the past, the United States supported Tibetan independence. Before being divided by China, Tibet was a huge size equivalent to a quarter of China's territory. In other words, Tibetan independence is a huge loss of Chinese territory. China's allies, Middle Eastern nations lost strength, and neighboring countries are allies of the United States.
Therefore, it is Russia that is important at this point. Russia won't want China to split up. Because they know that China next time will be themselves. But they will want China to be surrounded. Russia wants China to reach its hands first. Russia wants China to remain under constant threat, under the influence of Russia. Russia wants to have the least key to solve the problem. Not everything is owned by the U.S.
Will China continue to fall apart like the Soviet Union in the past, or will it take one step closer to the world's strongest powers?
