Hello, gamers, how are you? I hope everyone is doing well. Over the past few days, I've had the opportunity to play Pokémon TCG Pocket for a few hours, the version of the classic Pokémon trading card game, but for phones. Well, there are a lot of mixed feelings here because, well, as many of you know, I love Pokémon. I've always liked it, and I've been an active player of the series, even now. So, well, I practically had no excuse not to try this game.
Years ago, when I was a kid, I remember having my Pokémon cards and even trading them, but, well, like those things that get lost over the years, I don't really know where those cards went. However, I kept playing Pokémon, and obviously the series and its games continued to evolve. And well, finally, here we are with this version for phones.
The game app itself is pretty basic: collecting, progressing, and dueling. Very simple and intuitive. When you access the game, you can link your Nintendo Account and link your progress to your Nintendo account, which is very useful for your account records, achievements, and more.
As for the cards, we'll find the traditional cards, with Pokémon from the first generations. Of course, all the other generations have also been included, including the current Switch one. The cards will come in different packs and events that will allow us to gradually fill our collection. In addition to the packs, we can obtain cards through trading and with opening points in a special market.
The game itself is good. You know, Pokémon cards. If you like the game, you'll like it. I liked it quite a bit. It's like playing with cards. But on my phone, thanks to the console games, I was able to keep up to date with the generations, so I'm not so lost when it comes to Pokémon and their abilities. If you like card games and Pokémon, you'll obviously enjoy it. I think the app is very well optimized, runs smoothly, and the battles work very well.
So, gamers, if you're playing this game, let me know, and we'll join you to trade cards, grow your collection faster, and obviously, build your decks for battle. See you.
