Good afternoon, Steemians!

Many of you will know that Venezuela is not the place to be right now, to put it lightly. When I was there, all three times, I hung out with my wife's best friends, Alfredo and Johanny. They became very good friends of mine as well and they've now come to live with us for a time.

This is a big reason I haven't been very active on Steemit in the past few days. They got in from Maracaibo on Thursday. We took them downtown Fort Myers earlier today and then went to eat at India Palace. They thought it was spicy (it is) but loved it. It was their first time seeing Indian people, let alone eating Indian food or being in an Indian restaurant.

It feels pretty cool to be able to help others and experience things with them while they experience them for the first time. We are so happy to have them with us, and just a heads up, you might be seeing more of them in the posts I do as well :-)
