Good evening, Steemians!

Today I wanted to show you guys another piece that I picked up a couple days ago. It's the 2017 Rwanda African Hippo silver coin from the African Wildlife Series.

For me personally, this is my second coin from the series. I also have the 2016 Meerkat as well.

Here they are together just in case you don't believe me (why wouldn't you lol?)

I believe the series started in 2008 with the release of the Gorilla coin. This series used to have a limited mintage per coin, but I believe they did away with that after the 2013 Cheetah. Don't quote me on that but I do believe it's true. You can find the silver Gorilla on eBay for as much as $450!!! I kid you not!

A German Mint coins these for Rwanda, the Mint is BH Mayer Mint, which was founded in 1871 and world renown for their exceptional quality.

Do you own any coins in this series? I wish I would've started stacking these earlier but I just didn't know about them!
