"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded: Please Wait to Transact or Power Up Steem"
What's up Steemians?
I've gotten this message two days in a row now, and I know it's happened to some of you out there as well. I'd like to know exactly what this is, if anyone knows. It basically like your account is frozen for a certain amount of time. I tried upvoting, commenting, and even posting and it wouldn't let me for about 10 minutes.

Another Steemian made this post about it: https://steemit.com/steemit/@greenman81/getting-message-bandwidth-limit-exceeded-please-wait-to-transact-or-power-up
And yet another Steemian commented this:
Well, I know that I have Steem Power, so that gets ruled out. But me, piss off a whale? I'd like to know what I've done to piss off a whale... I'm a pretty easy-going guy and keep my cool.
I have a theory about what happened yesterday but I can't think of anything for the message today.
Yesterday I got this message right after someone spammed one of my posts with a post of their own saying "Please upvote my post too." Her post was completely unrelated to what mine was and I politely replied "Please don't spam my posts with your own posts, especially when they have nothing to do with this post. I won't ever upvote a post that someone has left on my own post like this one."
It was only after I deleted my own comment that I was able to use my account again...
I mean is this not censorship? I thought Steemit was for liberty-minded people. The anti-Facebook, if you will. If I can't tell someone not to spam my page without having my account temporarily disabled, then WTH?
Anyone else getting this message?
Could it be a hack? Or could it truly be something to do with bandwidth? I really doubt it.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by Steemians.
