I have been busy with work 4-5 days straight. I was stuck with a film crew from Singapore and Indonesia. As much as I want to post, my line of work requires extreme attention and service towards my client. I promise I write a post about this soon. I received a call from a fellow steemian to join a meetup. Actually, I was totally exhausted and just want to unwind relax at home. I pull myself up and head to the meetup. Its the best decision i made this week, I was happy to meet new faces in Sabah Steemians actually, we exchange names, greetings, our hobbies, more like get to know each other.

As much as I want to relax at home, I know meetup with fellow steemians is as important.
Now, here are the 5 Reasons Why Meet-Up is Important in Steemit.

1. Your Network is Your Networth

As we all know that people join Steemit is because monetary at stake for an individual person. However, it has been said many times that quality content and keep engaging with fellow steemit members is still the crucial in order to succeed in Steemit journey. The network not only applies in Steemit but also could help us in our daily life needs. For example, Hive account@chanelcalestus Hive account@melindajamulis Hive account@zamifara Hive account@nytrie are in the hospital medical industry, we may not know we would need help in that field. getting to know them in person as a fellow steemian is priceless.

2. Opportunity to Learn from Each Other

I have said this before , "Steemit is Not a Race, it's a damn long Marathon". As Steemit is still in beta, the platform will definitely change to better from time to time. We all are still learning from each other and by sharing information on How to, where to, When to and etc is beneficial for all. Meetup is time to expand the knowledege in Steemit, to know the Tips and Tricks amazing in making the Steemit journey a Success.

3. You are Not Alone

When we go for a meetup, all members have same goal in this platform which is we want to grow and become a better steemians. Knowing that you are not alone in the struggle somehow makes the pain feel a little less heavy. To know the fact that we can share same struggle in steemit, we know we can overcome it.

4. Face to Face Interaction

This put a face recognition behind a ID Username is so much better. We can literally understand the person feeling when reading their post. It all make sense that, Online and Offline interaction is crucial to success in Steemit. By supporting #teammalaysia is crucial, nonetheless if we know the person personally , it will be more meaningfull.

5. Community Building

Meet-up is also one way engaging each other in supporting Community at #teammalaysia. Newbie or Oldbie is doesnt matter actually, it is important that everybody play the role of commmunity building for the better for #teammalaysia to go up trending and thst the ultimate goal. Go Go #teammalaysia
