Given this analysis, figures and observations it becomes crystal clear that the gift of sight should not be taken for granted and as such should be appreciated.
Not being able to see colour. The colourful rainbow, not being able to see the colourful plants and animals, sunset, dresses, food, paintings and other forms of artwork.
Not being able to appreciate the new and latest designs in our gadgets and consumer electronics; the Samsung wallpaper, the iPhone X, the tesla roadster 2, Burj khalifa, waterfalls etc.
Not being able to see nature the animals, the birds, the fish, The trees, flowers and other plants even the newly discovered species of plants and animals.
Not being able to see the people around from family to friends to my favorite actors and actresses, musicians, role models, politicians, neighbors, classmates etc.
Being in a place and not seeing the difference. Not being able to see the church, the school, the park, the clouds, the moon, the sun, the stadium, my favorite team play.
Not being able to see pictures
Nor being able to watch movies, play video games.
Having to go to a special school, having a different life, living a life of restriction and dependence. I can't imagine all those things. The more I imagine it the more grateful I feel. No one deserves to be blind, to have a life without colour and form of things around, but the fact that some do experience this and I am fortunate not to be among them leaves me humbled and ever grateful.
Closing on a lighter mood I'll like to leave this joke here.
