It was an accidental call. I was following some different crypto currencies who were coming out with an ICO. I was on their website, where i happened to read about the posts made on steem. I was keen to know what is steem. There are quite a few currencies which post information about their offerings on medium and steem.
Since i was exploring the crypto currency trading options, i was using poloniex.
On the very same day steem was highest gainer on poloniex. This dragged me to steem soon. It took me few days to register. Actually, i had forgot about the steem after submitting my information for registration. But later after 7 days when i received the email, i was curious and started using steem. I always wanted to write for consideration, but never got a chance. I was always occupied with other opportunities but steem gave a chance for all my desires
