Here for my contribution to @kalemandra's #ColorChallenge for #ThursdayGreen I present to you four photographs that I took today from my phone on my walk in the woods.

Here in Växjö Sweden the snow has melted and there are signs of life warming up from underneath. There aren't too many signs of Spring yet... but I feel it coming! One thing that never ceases to amaze me is the Moss. It grows everywhere on everything in the forest here. It grows on boulders and stones as well as trees both living and dead.

Moss grows all the time too! That Winter cold didn't slow any of the Moss down around here and neither did all that snow and ice. The rich Green tones of the Mosses around here always catch my attention. The beauty of Green, which may be my favorite color, always attracts my eyes. The forest is a great place for Green. The white of snow and the contrasting Green is one of my favorite things about Winter here in Sweden... but Spring is even better! Sometimes the Green of the Moss even looks Neon Green in some cases!

For the last image... the dead wood on this stump had turned green on right side of the stump. This was really interesting to see! I thought I had to add it to the post... since it is a post of sorts!
