Check out these clips from a day spent with the Ghanzi Bushmen in the Kalahari Desert in Botswana Africa.
These guys showed us how they would find food in the bush, showed us which plants were rich with water. How to track animal foot prints and how to start a fire.
I was a very interesting day out in the Kalahari but my favorite part was when 2 giraffes appeared from behind some scrub.
They didn't seem to mind us being there at all. they are such beautiful creatures!
The bushmen would kill a giraffe to feed the village for weeks. They would turn the meat into biltong to preserve it. Not sure what that would taste like haha.
As the sun set they invited us to their Trance dance. It was a very interesting dance around the fire which put them all into a trance with all the chanting and dancing.
