Prelude
Hello everybody, how is it going? It's time again for Share Your Battle. The recommended card for sharing this week is on Dragons but I don't have much Dragons in my arsenal, hence I will be doing a sharing on yet another new soul bound reward card, Lobb Lowland. One of the set of summoners with the ability to add Gladiator to lineup.
Thoughts on Lobb Lowland
This monkey ain't no simple monkey, it has the ability to call upon Gladiators to the lineup. This monkey warlord leads the fiercest Earth Gladiators to battle.
Let's look at the base stats of Lobb Lowland Stats:
6 mana to use this summoner, 2 mana higher than the usual Chaos Legion summoners.
For Lobb Lowland, it brings -1 speed to opponent lineup, which is something real good because I find that most of the Earth Splinter cards are of low speed, this helps to allow Earth Splinter card to strike faster than usual.

Opponent Lineup
Prediction before pressing rumble
Putting Gladiator in regular ranked matches is something new. It is like making brawl situation available in regular ranked matches where I can make use of the Blood Lust ability of Gladiators. My opponent fielded a regular squad with heavy sneak attack. Let's see who come up on tops.
Let's get ready to rumble
Round 1, Radiated Scorcher was taken out by Fungus Fiend after a zap from Quora. Tenyii landed a hit on Quora but Uraeus missed.
Round 2, Woah, a repeat of last round, Quora zap follow by Fungus fiend taking the kill on Chaos Agent. Would have hoped that Quora landed the killer blow to initiate blood lust.
Round 3/4, Quora taking a killer blow on Scavo Chemist while Fungus Fiend fell to the attack of Uraeus.
Round 5/6, a breeze in the park for Quora as she healed and zapped off both Uraeus and Tenyii Striker to secure the win after growing bigger and scarier. Not forgetting that Quora can do both melee and magic attack.
After Thoughts
I feel so happy to be able use my favourite Quora that I use in brawls on rank matches. Lobb Lowland has made it possible. My whole arsenal of Gladiators for Earth is at disposal to use for various rule sets.
Did my strategy work in this game? Yes it did. I came into this battle with intent to send a Gladiator, which is my favourite Quora to help me win this match. However, as I see how the match progressed, I feel that I can just put Quora at first position so that I can make use of the melee and magic double attack to my advantage and boost up the blood lust early on and make Quora way stronger.
Will I be using such a lineup in the future? Yes and no. It really depend on the rule set and also how many mana I have at my disposal so that I can put in Gladiator cards sufficiently without losing out balance on the lineup. That additional 2 mana to use Lobb Lowland could possibly be needed to boost basic lineup for specific cards to have better integration in the lineup.
Conscript
This ability changes the whole dimension of the game and is currently available to the following summoners:
With them, we will be able bring Gladiators to the battle field. Cards like Quora, Marisol, Jini Guise, Tatiana Blade etc can now appear in Ranked battles. Not forgetting the ability of Conscript actually reads that it allows the use of one additional Gladiator in battle, which means we can actually use a second Gladiator when we fight in brawl.
Isn't that amazing? Yes and no.
I did try out another match using Lobb Lowland to bring out Quora but lost to another lineup whom used Obsidian without a Gladiator in their lineup. A proper selection and decision making is still needed, knowing what can be used in what mana range and also studying previous lineup by opponent will then bring higher chance of victory.
So in concluding, while these Conscript summoner cards like Lobb Lowland help bring out Gladiators, it does not guarantee an auto win. For example using Lobb Lowland, all the magic attack cards will not be boosted and when opponents know we are likely to use Lobb Lowland, they can put in cards to further suppress magic attacks and render our attack to be on scratching mode instead of doing proper damage. Plan your lineup wisely, the ability to use Gladiator cards opens up many possibilities, but we need to remember certain goodness that other summoners bring about might also be what we need to lead us to victory.
