Pope Francis raised the Ukrainian flag sent to him from Bucha.
"Stop this war! Let the weapons remain silent! Stop sowing death and destruction," Francis said during his audience in the Vatican Hall.
“Ever more horrendous cruelties, even against civilians, women, and helpless children. They are victims whose innocent blood cries out to heaven and implores,” the pope said in his weekly public audience at the Vatican on Wednesday. “May this war cease! May weapons fall silent.
