Art contest: Abstraction

Hi Steemians, this is my drawing for @danielfs's #abstraction-contest. This is the final image:

The process is described below:

First I have made a single point in the center of the sheet and after that strarted to draw a spiral-like form with the HB pencil:

Next I have made some details with similar shapes:

Adding more details:

Here I started coloring:

And in the end I nearly damaged the drawing... but somehow managed to save it.

The materials used are:

blank sheet 130 g/m² havy grained paper
mechanical HB pencil 2.0 mm
crayola color pencils
derwent colorless blender pencil (for the background)
eraser
kneaded eraser
