I believe that portrait session is always the most challenging genre in photography.. There is always so much to learn in it plus it's never easy.. Always need to try something new and different..

It's all about using proper lights, composition, location and depth of field..

During this shoot with Karishma I basically concentrated on emphasising on the eyes to create a nice mood and personality of the subject..

Used my 70-200mm to get up close with the model..

I let the model be comfortable and asked her to relax and give her own poses which worked great for me..

As usual I used natural lights.. I did have a flashlight somewhere on the side.. But it wasn't on the subject as I was getting an amazing natural light.. And I also used the environment to my advantage to get some nice green bokeh..

Next time you go out to take some portraits, try and keep these in mind.. Might work out great!!
