I really like the simplicity of XPLpic. Sometimes you just want to share a beautiful photo without having to turn it into a full blog post.

I also think the possibility of accessing it through Web2 is particularly interesting. It lowers the barrier for people who have never heard of Hive and could make XPLpic a genuine entry point into the ecosystem. They can simply use the application because they enjoy photography and discover Hive in the background.

And I really like the world map. Keeping track of places and moments and being able to discover them again later is something I personally find very appealing.

I’m curious to see how XPLpic develops. It might be a nice example of how Hive doesn’t always have to be in the foreground to create value.
