I'm changing my outlooks on pain and suffering. I try to see a desire for life. I will not dread death.
A dear friend of mine passed away 2 weeks ago. It made me wonder, "Why do we all weep the same when a person dies?". Is there a lesson here?
Death is part of life, isn't it? We all day in the end. Why do we react so hurt to an everyday occurance. What if we didn't die? We would stuff the planet until we could no longer move...
Maybe it is our arrogance, thinking we are to 'special' to die. But of course we aren't. I realised there is nothing wrong with death, it will be inevitatble at one point and it is to be accepted as part of life...
