Each one with his things. ๐/Cada quien con sus cosas. ๐
๐คEnglish๐ ๐Spanish๐
๐ตGreetings my dear readers ๐๐
There are things of mine, things of yours and things of God ...
I heard this phrase in one of the conferences of the famous Venezuelan psychoanalyst and coach Carlos Fraga and from the first moment it struck me.
It is more than a phrase.
And it has never been more valid than during this pandemic that has hit the world.
In fact, I think that it is one of the greatest lessons that the world crisis that caused the Coronavirus should leave us.
I will explain them briefly to paraphrase Fraga:
There are things of mine.
This has to do with what I have to do as an individual.
It refers to everything that has to do with my life and that only I can do.
It is related to my decisions, my choices, my responsibilities.
It may sound simple and seem very obvious. But there are people who find it difficult to deal with everything that corresponds to them.
That they drag others into their circumstances for not solving those personal problems that only they can solve.
In fact this has happened to almost everyone.
When in our romantic relationships we look for someone "That will make us happy" placing in another person our personal responsibility to achieve happiness.
The ideal is to reach the couple with an internal state of happiness and not that it depends on the actions of third parties.
My things, it's about concentrating on what I have to do. What is in my hands to solve, releasing everything that does not correspond to me, be it people, ideas or situations ... And here is the difficult part.
Because we human beings like to be in control of everything we can, because this gives us a great sense of security.
But the truth is that we cannot and should not control everything. We must concern ourselves only with what corresponds to us.
For example, many people panicked when the virus began to spread. It brought me a lot of peace to take care of what was my due.
I was busy looking for my face mask, my gloves and my antibacterial.
I learned the sanitary norms dictated by the authorities and try to apply them as much as possible.
Try to help whoever you could and how you could.
And as for what was not in my hands to do ... I released it.
Let each one take care of what he was supposed to do and God do his own thing.
This brought me a lot of peace ...
๐ด๐ Hay cosas mรญas.
There are things of yours.
They are the things that I cannot take care of myself, because they do not correspond to me.
We can all help and support the people we love. But it is not for us to solve all their problems, make their decisions, choose for them or suffer for them.
It is one thing to offer our loved ones solidarity and company and quite another to carry all their problems on our backs and try to solve them for them.
As Fraga says: We are not the world's ambulance!
Do not try to solve what does not correspond to you, as much as you love your children, your partner or your friends, let them do what they must do ... Do not try to live their lives, because you can only do yours. .
There are things of God.
They are the things that escape hands samples and even science.
When we have exhausted all our resources, when each one has already done what was due, that is when we must let God be God, as Fraga says.
Let go and let God act. Let him do what only he can do.
It doesn't matter what your conception of God is or what name you give him.
When you have done your own, let go and let God do his part.
If we learn these three simple rules our life will be easier and we will establish healthier relationships.
Soltar y dejar a Dios actuar.
