Finally, the match has come and ended. Since Nigeria played Brazil during the Atlantata 1996 match, that secret rivarly still prevail. The match was a painful one to Brazil as they lost to Nigeria. Goal from Kanu Nwankwo won the match for Nigeria. You have to see how Nigerians were happy, it look as if they won the world cup, it was really an interesting game as various musician put up their art work by dishing out some interesting song. That memory still ring in my head.
Talking of the Atlanta 1996 match, I was very small then, so it was a missed moment for me. I am so happy having the privilege to witness this again. From that time to now, it is 23 years difference, just take a look at how time flies. Now, the match starts, Nigeria got ahead through a lovely goal from Aribo .J. in the 35th minute.
When that goal came in, I was like wow, we back on top, you need to see how I was jubilating, I know it wont last. I know how the Brazilians are, they are very good. I was expecting them to get our ass whiped but the match finally ended in draw as Casemiro equalised for Brazil just some minutes into the second half. In case you missed out, the match was played in Singapore national stadium.
